Our Apologies

That's how I always start something when I have to print a retraction in my magazine. I don't have to do them very often, and I always try to make it seem like it wasn't my fault (after all, it never is — I swear) by making it sound like the little dwarfs in the back room who print the magazine made a mistake, something like: "In the article 'How To Brew Coffee,' page 25, April 2005, Jim the Mad Advertiser was quoted incorrectly as saying, 'Everyone else's product sucks.' The quote should have read, 'Our product doesn't suck.'" I love my job.
So, I was going back through my old posts because I'm going to put them into a scrapbook (don't ask) and I noticed that I had written that Anthony Edwards was in Sixteen Candles. This struck me as odd. As I write this, I don't remember seeing Anthony Edwards in Sixteen Candles. Am I wrong? I checked IMDB and he's not listed on the cast list. I feel like an idiot, like I always do when I let an error get into print in the magazine. I should catch these things — after all, it's what I do for a living. But now I wonder, was he in it? Was he one of the geeks? I don't know, and I don't have the movie handy to watch. I'll have to get back to you on this one, but for the time being, Our Apologies.
